This tiny cafe is tucked away at the Yarra River end of Chapel St and has the best coffee with the best service in South Yarra. Perfect for a caffeinehit with the crew after a Saturday morning Body Fit Training session.

This foodie wonderland is filled with everything – from fruit, spices,pastries and Turkish delights. I love a Saturday morning wander throughthe market. My favourites are Q Le Baker for the best sourdough in town,La Colmena for my sweet Spanish pastry fix and Reliable Fruit for produce.

This place has a relaxed vibe, friendly staff, great music (on vinyl, if you’re lucky) and a winning food and wine list. While the menu is small, everything is prepared to perfection. Make sure you order the chicken sandwich.

PINK GINGER

This unassuming Japanese restaurant makes the best spot for delicious, relaxed meals with family and friends. They have both eat-in and takeaway Japanese classics such as okonomiyaki, pan-fried gyozas and my absolute favourite: katsu curry don. With impeccable service and food, you’ll think you’ve walked into a restaurant in Tokyo.

This intimate Italian restaurant may only be 29sq m but is perfect for aspecial night out. The classic menu includes tagliatelle al ragu, which wasthe best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy. It may be small, but it’s packed tothe rafters with atmosphere, charm and deliciousness.

The simple act of patience will take your biscuit game to the next level!

While we couldn’t do this in biscuit week in the Bake Off shed, I generally rest my biscuit dough at home in the fridge overnight (up to 76 hours) before I cook the biscuits.
